The SWIM project introduces a remote-controlled irrigation system to address water scarcity and promote preservation of available freshwater resources.

Project Objectives:

• Reconstruct and rehabilitate three hill lakes.

• Irrigate all Mrusti lands by drip irrigation and through conveyance systems that are automatically controlled by humidity sensors.

Project Results:

• Design of irrigation schemes to cover whole village, and to enable its operation on in ground humidity sensors Installation of two new main primary irrigation networks.

• Installation of irrigation secondary line and tertiary drip irrigation lines Restoration of three hill lakes.
