This project focuses on encouraging sustainable waste management practices at the household level through the promotion of backyard composting units.

Its aim is to divert organic waste from household waste streams and to replicate and disseminate composting practices to as many households as possible. To make this achievable, ACE produces affordable composting kits using recycled wooden pallets, keeping costs low while giving discarded materials a second life.

By making composting simple and accessible, the project reduces overall household waste production and turns organic material into a useful resource, supporting a cleaner environment and a stronger culture of recycling at home.
