This project documents the preservation of Beirut’s built heritage, while laying the groundwork for future initiatives to revive traditional Lebanese craftsmanship.

Objectives of the Project:

• Conduct interviews with individuals who received support from ACE for the rehabilitation of doors, windows, and wrought iron

• Interview artisans who collaborated with ACE

• Develop a draft booklet highlighting Beirut’s forgotten heritage

• Prepare a project proposal with ALIPH to establish a workshop aimed at reviving traditional Lebanese art and ensure the continuity of woodwork and wrought iron crafts
