ACE participated in the First International Congress on Geoscience, “Earth Sciences for Society” (ICG1), held in El Jadida, Morocco, from 20 to 24 March 2018. The congress brought together researchers and practitioners to explore how earth sciences can serve society.
At the event, Dr. Soumaya Ayadi delivered an oral presentation entitled “Aspiring Geoparks potential in Lebanon”, focusing on the Shouf–Jezzine aspiring Geopark. The presentation highlighted Lebanon’s geological richness and the opportunity to protect and promote it through the geopark model.
