This action focuses on enhancing knowledge of Lebanon’s geological heritage through fossil identification and documentation in the Jezzine region, contributing to long-term geo-conservation and education.

ACE identifies and inventories fossils across the Jezzine area and, in the process, develops a clear methodology for fossil inventory that can be reused in other regions. This systematic approach ensures that discoveries are recorded consistently and can support future study.

The work culminates in a final report detailing the geographical and geological history of Lebanon, with particular attention to the caza of Jezzine and South Lebanon — a resource that strengthens both scientific understanding and public education.
